JW PEI is a Los Angeles accessories brand co-founded by husband and wife duo Steph Li and Yang Pei. When Stephanie developed luxury vegan handbag label JW Pei with her husband in 2016, she set out to find a more eco-friendly alternative to PVC and PU. Enter ultra-microfiber, a lightweight, non-woven fabric made from blended fibers of polyester and polyamide that is at least five times more durable than PU. JW Pei is the very first to use it in handbags.
The inspiration behind the brand comes from the idea that fashion should be approachable, effortless and empowering. The minimalist design of sustainable vegan materials is at the heart of the brand.
With its modern minimalist aesthetic, JW PEI proposes and seeks fun and creative fashion that embodies the unique beauty and strength of each individual.
